Double elimination format. (Players are only eliminated after 2 losses. After their first loss, they are sent to the „Losers Bracket,“ and a loss there will eliminate them. In the final matchup, beating the player from Winners Bracket resets the match, because now both players have lost once.)
Matches will be best of 3, as will the individual games. Loser may change character between games, winner may not. Shin Akuma is banned. Blind character selection available upon request (They may request to have players secretly reveal their character selections to the TO in order to remove biases on the character select screen, and protect themselves from being pre-emptively counter-picked.)
